Drew Blythe Barrymore, born 22nd February 1975 is an American actress. Numerous awards have been handed out to her, including the Screen Actors Guild Award and a Golden Globe, five Emmy Award nominations, and an BAFTA nomination. She is part of the Barrymore family and is the great-granddaughter John Barrymore. Barrymore achieved fame in her early years as a child actress, thanks to her part in E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. The Extra-Terrestrial was the result of a highly publicized early childhood that was characterized by drug and alcohol addiction, she wrote her autobiography Little Girl Lost. In the 1990s she was a part of a number of films, including Poison, Boys on the Side and Mad Love.
