Abigale Le Miller bio
Abigale Lee
Mills (born on the 21st of September, 1965) was a American dance instructor,
choreographer, and reality TV host. She is the founder of the Abby Lee Dance
Company, which appeared on the reality show Dance Moms for eight seasons.
Miller confessed on June 27th, 2016 to fraudulent bankruptcy in the felony
category. She was sentenced for one year and one day in federal prison and was
released on the 27th of March of 2018. The diagnosis of lymphoma was made in
April of this year. It's a kind of cancer that renders you incapable of
walking. To move around she relies on wheelchair. Miller was raised in Penn
Hills, Pennsylvania. Her teacher was her mother at Maryen Lorrain Dance Studio.
Miller was just 14 years old when she was given choreography and the role of
coach on one of her mother's dancing teams in competition. Miller later took
over the studio, renaming it Reign Dance Productions. Miller was certified by
Dance Masters of America and became a part of Dance Masters of Pennsylvania
Chapter #10 in 1986 however, her membership was ended in February 2012 and the
DMA saying that Miller's reality-TV program Dance Moms was "a total
misrepresentation of our dance teachers and their students and is negative for
the dance profession."
